Stephen Maynard Caliendo (Ph.D., Purdue University) is Professor of political science at North Central College.  His research centers on political communication and political psychology. Co-director of The Project on Race in Political Communication (RaceProject.org), he regularly serves as an analyst for media outlets, and his work has been presented and published widely.
